Caringbah South

Caringbah South sits between Caringbah and Lilli Pilli in the Sutherland Shire. There are approximately 13,000 residents who live in Caringbah South, the majority are professionals and families. It was officially established as a suburb in 2008.

In Caringbah South the majority of residents live in large, freestanding family homes. There are tree-lined streets and beautiful views of the Port Hacking River to be enjoyed. Residents also value the strong community feels. It is a very family-friendly area to live in.

Residents enjoy a number of parklands in Caringbah South including Willarong Point Park Reserve, Beauford Park, Allambie Avenue Reserve, Wattlebird Bushland Reserve, and Fernleigh Reserve.

You can also take advantage of the public boat ramp in Caringbah South, Water Street Boat Ramp. Unfortunately, there is no jetty or beach at this boat ramp.

There is a small set of shops in Caringbah South, which includes a petrol station, takeaway, cafe, bakery, and a wellness centre. On the border of Caringbah South and Lilli Pilli, you will also find a supermarket, takeaway, and bakery.

Caringbah Public School and Laguna Street Public School are the local primary schools for students in kindergarten to year 6. For younger children, there are Preschools and Daycares close by, including Caringbah South Preschool, Little Blessings Early Learning Centre, and Caringbah Pre-Kindergarten.

Caringbah is the closest train station to Caringbah South, and there is a regular bus service that connects the surrounding suburbs.
