What aboriginal land is Cronulla on?

The Dharawal speaking people who are the Traditional Custodians of the land of Sutherland Shire, including Cronulla. The Gweagal Aboriginal tribe inhabited the southern banks of the Georges River and Botany Bay, with a presence on the Kurnell Peninsula. While their traditional territory hasn’t been precisely determined, it is thought that they may have covered much of Cronulla-Sutherland region.
